Trans Tool Shed is a leading resource for quality products and information for trans and non-binary people, and their loved ones.

Trans Tool Shed means a lot to us because we are trans and non-binary people who have been advocating around trans and non-binary issues for a long time. We've been testing and comparing gender expression products for more than a decade. Members of our team have been doing trans advocacy work and providing information and resources for over twenty years.

As an organization, Trans Tool Shed's history goes back to 2008, when The Tool Shed-- a mission-driven, education-based sexuality boutique located in Milwaukee, WI-- began offering a diverse selection of gender affirming supplies to both local and online customers. The Tool Shed team has been dedicated to this task ever since then, helping people find breast forms, packers, STPs, shaping garments, binders, books, personal care products, and other items, with the goal of enhancing trans and non-binary lives.

In 2019, the Tool Shed team established Trans Tool Shed as a separate website centering the needs of trans and nonbinary folks. This separate website is more accessible to folks who may not be ready for, or interested in, the broader sexuality-related products offered on our Tool Shed website. Transtoolshed.com offers a dedicated, easy-to-navigate space for exploring and learning about gender affirming products.

In addition to offering quality products, books, and information, team members at Trans Tool Shed are also available to provide education and workshop services for individuals and organizations.  Please see our services page for more information.
