Shipping + Returns

ORDERS: GENERAL INFO

Your order information must be complete and accurate for a transaction to go through. Please ensure that you enter the address associated with your credit card in the "billing address" area of the order process. Most order errors are due to the entry of incorrect billing information. If your order is rejected, please contact your credit card company-- recent changes due to moving to a new address or a change in legal name can result in a declined charge.

Please make sure that your address is complete (apartment number, full name, etc.-- the Post Office will often return packages with incomplete name and address information). We ship via U.S. Postal Service, so your address needs to be able to accept deliveries from U.S. Mail.

If we do not have your correct email and telephone contact information, we will not be able to let you know if there is a problem with your order. Without a correct email address, we cannot send you tracking information or order updates. We do not automatically add your email to any mailing lists, so please don't avoid giving us your contact information to avoid spam.  We only send out order-related and tracking information to the email you provide.

We typically pack and ship orders quickly, either on the same day the order is received, or on the next business day. At times, our web site might show an item or color choice that has been sold out or is not currently available. If there is any problem filling your order, we will contact you within 24 hours to explain the situation and consider possible backorders or alternate choices. We will refund your card for any items that we are not able to ship.

STANDARD SHIPPING COSTS (as sent via U.S. Postal Service to addresses within the United States):
Orders totaling up to $74.99 are shipped at a flat rate of $8.95
Orders totaling $75.00 and above ship for free.

Our standard shipping method within the United States is via the U.S. Postal Service's Ground Advantage service, which generally takes 2-5 business days to reach you after it has been shipped, depending on where you live. We will ship out your order as soon as possible, but depending on where you live and the time of year (such as during the holiday season), it may take slightly longer to get to you.

We do not ship items on Sunday or on any holiday observed by the U.S. Postal Service. You can look up all Postal holidays on the U.S. Postal web site, www.usps.com.

HOW YOUR PACKAGES ARE SHIPPED
Packages will be discreet and will come in either a plain brown box or a plain padded/cardboard envelope. The return address on the postal label will say "TTS SHIPPING DEPT" and our street address.  There is no indication on the outside of the box as to what you have ordered.

TRACKING
A tracking number from the U.S. Postal Service will be emailed to you when your item has shipped. Depending on the value or type of order, we may require a signature upon delivery to ensure your package arrives safely and to ensure your privacy. Generally, domestic orders totaling $100 or more may require a signature at delivery.

NON-DELIVERY
In the event of a package returned due to improper address or other delivery problem that is not our fault (for example, a customr forgot to add their apartment number or didn't add a last name to their shipment), we may have to charge the customer to ship it again.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We currently do not offer international shipping at this time. 

RETURNS

Due to the intimate nature of many of our products, ALL SALES ARE FINAL unless an item is defective. Because many intimate items such as packers, breast forms, gaffs, and packing underwear do not come in tamper-evident packaging, exchanges for size and color will NOT be honored, so be sure you've chosen the correct item details before you purchase.

Exceptions to this blanket policy include chest binders, t-shirts, bras, and books; return policy specifics for those items are described in detail below.

Items are checked against manufacturer defect before shipping. In the rare event that your item has a manufacturer's defect, you may only exchange it for a replacement of the same item. Defective items must be reported to us within 14 days of purchase. Any returns must be approved by Trans Tool Shed, and must include the store invoice and original product packaging.

A. CHEST BINDER RETURNS
Chest binders may be returned or exchanged for another size within 14 days of purchase under the following conditions:

  1. The binder must have all tags attached and must be like new-- we will not accept any binders that are stained, covered in deodorant or other substances, or in any other way show wear. So, before you try on your binder, make sure you're not wearing products or scents that can rub off onto the binder.
  2. The binder must be returned in the bag it originally came in.
  3. You must return the binder to us in secure packaging, and contact us via email (use the email address shown on your order confirmation) to let us know you are returning the binder. Return shipping is your responsibility. You may wish to add a tracking number to your package to help ensure its delivery.
  4. In the case of replacement, we will ship another size to you upon receipt of your returned binder.  If there is a price difference in sizes, you will be billed or credited for the difference in price, depending on the amount.
  5. In the case of refund, we will credit your credit card (minus any shipping charges) once we receive the binder and can verify that the above conditions for return are met.

B. BRA RETURNS
Bras may be returned or exchanged for another size within 14 days of purchase under the following conditions:

  1. The bra must have all tags attached and must be like new-- we will not accept any bras that are stained, covered in deodorant, make-up, or other substances, or in any other way show wear. So, before you try on your bra, make sure you're not wearing products or scents that can rub off onto the binder.
  2. The bra must be returned in the bag it originally came in.
  3. You must return the bra to us in secure packaging, and contact us via email (use the email address shown on your order confirmation) to let us know you are returning the bra. Return shipping is your responsibility. You may wish to add a tracking number to your package to help ensure its delivery.
  4. In the case of replacement, we will ship another size to you upon receipt of your returned bra.  If there is a price difference in sizes, you will be billed or credited for the difference in price, depending on the amount.

C. T-SHIRT RETURNS
T-shirts may be returned or exchanged for another size within 14 days of purchase under the following conditions:
  1. The shirt must have all tags attached and must be like new-- we will not accept any shirts that are stained, covered in deodorant or other substances, or in any other way show wear. So, before you try on your shirt, make sure you're not wearing products or scents that can rub off.
  2. You must return the shirt to us in secure packaging, and contact us via email (use the email address shown on your order confirmation) to let us know you are returning the shirt. Return shipping is your responsibility. You may wish to add a tracking number to your package to help ensure its delivery.
  3. In the case of replacement, we will ship another size to you upon receipt of your returned shirt.
  4. In the case of refund, we will credit your credit card (minus any shipping charges) once we receive the shirt and can verify that the above conditions for return are met.
D. BOOK RETURNS
Books may be returned for credit within 14 days of purchase under the following conditions:
  1. The book must be in new, unread condition.  We will not accept any book returns where the book is marked, worn, or shows wear along the spine of the book.
  2. You must return the book to us in secure packaging, and contact us via email (use the email address shown on your order confirmation) to let us know you are returning the book. Return shipping is your responsibility. You may wish to add a tracking number to your package to help ensure its delivery.
  3. We will credit your credit card (minus any shipping charges) once we receive the book and can verify that the above conditions for return are met.
